Job Summary
Systems Engineer (junior to mid-level) responsible for designing, integrating, and testing protected SATCOM terminals (AEHF/EHF) across hardware, software, RF, and mechanical domains to meet government requirements. Works with government customers and cross-disciplined teams; participates in requirements traceability, design reviews (PDR/CDR/TRR/SVR), and documentation (ICDs, compliance matrices, test procedures). Telework is supported; travel is required. Must contribute to subsystem requirement decomposition, interface definitions, system integration, and verification efforts, and coordinate with subcontractors and customer teams. Requires DoD SE experience and knowledge of EHF/SHF SATCOM fundamentals and a DoD engineering framework; Bachelor’s in Engineering; Secret with TS eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (EE, Systems, Computer, or Similar)
- 5 to 7 years of systems engineering experience on defense or SATCOM programs
- Knowledge in EHF/SHF SATCOM fundamentals; requirements analysis; formal design reviews; mobile military platform integration; interface definition; system integration; test execution; DoD SE framework and tools
- Ability to work across hardware, software, RF, and mechanical domains
- Security clearance: Secret (TS eligible)
