Job Summary
Systems Engineer will support the integration and development of space and ground systems through technical integration, project management, and systems engineering. The role involves applying systems analysis techniques to define hardware and software requirements, contributing to the design, development, testing, and modification of computer systems and prototypes, and supporting upgrades to ground system software to ensure reliable mission operations. The position ensures ground systems are developed in alignment with user needs, spacecraft interfaces, and related system documentation. Responsibilities include technical integration, project management, systems engineering, and integration advisory services; applying systems analysis to determine hardware/software/system specifications; supporting design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems and prototypes; supporting analysis and testing of upgrades and enhancements of ground system software; ensuring ground systems meet user and interface requirements. 100% of time focused on these responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or engineering-related field of study
- 5-15 years of systems engineering experience
- Experience with MBSE (SysML)
- Experience with requirements tracking/testing tools
- Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-tempo operational environment
Desired Qualifications
- CI Poly with clearance
- SAFe certification(s)
- IC-derived clearance
- Knowledge of NRO systems/processes
