Job Summary
Conduct program reviews to evaluate alternative plans and system engineering processes, ensuring subsystem performance meets specifications. Prepare technical documents defining system characteristics and manage technical presentations for planning and corrective actions. Perform validation of systems, analyze major engineering results, and provide engineering support for risk management activities using AF SEAM processes. Execute formal trade studies based on performance, cost effectiveness, and reliability metrics. Deliver technical recommendation support services including audits, evaluations, and analysis of Initial Capabilities Documents and Concepts of Operation. Provide system engineering training and oversight for acquisition, integration, sustainment, and deployment initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must have an active TS/SCI and be able to maintain it
- High School Diploma
- 7 years of directly related experience
- BA/BS degree with 3 years of directly related experience
- Must be available for on-site work at Peterson SFB in Colorado Springs, CO
- Must be available for travel to CONUS locations (approx. 10%)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of directly related experience
- DoD Acquisition Program Office experience
- Experience supporting Missile Warning, Missile Defense and / or Space Domain Awareness or Command and Control Systems
- DoDAF Architectural documentation experience (Highly Preferred)
- Cloud-based technologies
- Mission and/or software applications and their uses
- Digital Engineering/Model Based Systems Engineering
- Sparx EA (including ProCloud Server) or Cameo Enterprise Architect
- Modeling and simulation on Software intensive systems
- Tools such as MATLAB, Simulink, AFSIM
