Job Summary
The Systems Engineer role at Novatech involves troubleshooting live production server environments, resolving business application incidents, and determining the root causes of problems. Candidates will also mentor team members, document incident resolutions, and make recommendations for action plans. The position requires strong technical and analytical skills with a focus on exceptional customer service and communication. Candidates should possess significant experience in a core technical area, including Managed Service Provider experience and expertise in Microsoft-based environments.
Required Qualifications
- Managed Service Provider experience
- 5+ years currently working in a core technical area
- 8+ years' experience in an IT department
- Experience troubleshooting general network topologies
- Experience with site-to-site field work
- Experience with Microsoft RDS, Microsoft Windows Client, Microsoft Server and Operating Systems
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent professional communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in Windows, Dell, VMware and Fortinet topologies
