Job Summary
Conduct technical analysis, system integration, verification and validation, and supportability analyses for total OPIR systems. Maintain hardware and software baseline documentation while tracking contract requirements and following documented processes throughout the development lifecycle. Generate concepts, designs, and scenarios to guide SBIRS and BMDS OPIR Architecture analysis efforts for MDA Flight Tests and integrated ground tests. Define next-generation ground testing strategies using process automation to support the Ground Test Integrated Simulation System (GTISS) architecture. Collaborate with diverse teams to enable mission success through advanced technology implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline
- 2 years of related work experience
- Master's Degree
- 5 years of related work experience
- Master's Degree and 3 years of related work experience
- 1 year of related work experience with a PhD. in STEM
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time to support business needs
- Documentation and requirements tracking experience
- Basic knowledge of LINUX commands
- Ability to maintain and follow documented processes and procedures
- Strong communications skills, both verbal and written
- Basic knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to maintain documentation through the development lifecycle
- Ability to work in a team-centric, multi-tasking environment
- Must be eligible and able to receive and maintain a DoD-issued Secret security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- MBSE Experience with CAMEO
- Project Management Experience
- Scripting experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl
- Working knowledge of OPIR systems
