Job Summary
Systems Engineer for Qualis LLC providing contractor site reachback support for the MAR JPO. Responsibilities cover platform integration, future planning, and Studies & Analysis activities, including translating requirements into design criteria, developing system specifications, conducting trade studies, and supporting ICD development and reviews. Remote work with occasional travel up to 15% to government sites. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and a TS/SCI clearance with a minimum of 7 years of systems engineering experience; knowledge of GPS/GNSS and navigation; experience with avionics/platform integration; strong technical writing, analysis, and independent-work capability. Preferred Master’s degree and additional years of experience in systems engineering. The role involves integration planning, SIL testing coordination, and preparation of technical reports and documentation, with emphasis on roadmap development for PNT/NAVWAR capabilities and monitoring relevant Navy/Coast Guard/Army programs.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Must have and be able to maintain a TS/SCI level clearance
- Minimum 7 years of systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of GPS/GNSS systems and navigation
- Experience with avionics or platform integration preferred
- Understanding of systems engineering processes
- Proficiency in technical writing and analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
