Job Summary
Provide technical direction for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware and software systems. Support system development and implementation planning through the preparation and assessment of Systems Engineering Management Plans and System Integration and Test Plans. Manage lower-level requirements from higher-level allocations and coordinate action item resolution for Configuration Control Boards, design reviews, and program reviews. Establish baseline definitions for systems and components under development to align hardware and software engineering teams. Contribute to systems engineering documentation including Systems Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents. Requires a Bachelor's degree plus 14 years of experience, Active TS/SCI clearance, and hands-on experience with Network Security Protocols and Python scripting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline
- 14 years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Must be able to frequently communicate with co-workers, management, and customers
- Must be able to deliver presentations
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in situations involving communication with co-workers, management, and customers
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Network Security Protocols, particularly EAP-TLS, MACsec, and IPsec
- Demonstrated scripting skills (preferably Python) to support systems engineering artifacts, specification generation, and test automation
- Familiarity with cryptographic systems and secure network communication architectures
