Job Summary
The Systems Engineering Manager oversees all aspects of service delivery for the organization’s enterprise IT systems, including Windows, Linux and Office 365 servers, on‐premises and cloud-based needs, backup and monitoring, and disaster recovery planning. Leads and coaches staff, drives collaboration with business partners, and coordinates deployment of new systems and technologies while ensuring security and high availability. Responsible for building, maintaining and documenting server diagrams and policies; manages Nutanix and Veeam platforms; develops project plans; and aligns IT initiatives with organizational goals. Requires strong leadership, customer service, cross‐functional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines. Location: San Diego, CA; Salary range $113,409–$127,585.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field required
- Nutanix, Veeam License required within one year
- Current Microsoft Expert Solutions & Cloud (Azure) required
- 5+ years’ experience supporting a complex Microsoft IT infrastructure network, Microsoft Windows Server Environment, Active Directory and Azure Administration required
- Experience with Nutanix, Veeam, Azure, O365 - required
- 2+ Years in supervision required
