Job Summary
Manage system requirements and derived requirements to ensure production system compatibility with defined architectures like DoDAF and SOA. Contribute to systems engineering documentation including System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, and Interface Control Documents. Coordinate resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board meetings and design reviews requiring cross-discipline coordination. Derive lower-level requirements from higher-level allocations to ensure completeness, correctness, and verifiability. Generate alternative system concepts and design solutions while implementing comprehensive SOA solutions and operational views. Assess program risks to determine failure probability and consequence in accordance with approved risk management plans. Establish formal procedures for controlling requirement changes, ensuring traceability and stakeholder buy-in. Provide technical direction for hardware and software integration, testing, and end-to-end flow analysis.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizens
- active TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years experience as a System Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Five (5) years of additional System Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree
- Three (3) years of experience in the legal or technical aspects of Intelligence Community Privacy Compliance
- Two (2) years of experience with the customers' systems architecture
