Job Summary
Lead a team of up to 10 admins and engineers to design, build, and operate cloud-based platforms for government programs. Drive reliability, security, and performance across distributed software applications; collaborate with development teams to improve services through testing and release procedures; gather metrics from operating systems and applications to optimize system health and fault-tolerance; automate platform management and capacity planning; ensure alignment with service level objectives and customer needs. Requires experience with Python/Java/C/C++, Bash, Kubernetes, Splunk dashboards, and cloud storage technologies (NFS, HDFS, Ceph, S3); DoD 8570 Level II (Security+) and US citizenship. Onsite at Fort Bragg, NC with up to 25% travel; security clearance level starting at Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree recommended
- DoD 8570 Level II (Security +)
- 5+ years of related experience
- Ability to program in Python, Java, C/C++, Ruby, and JavaScript
- Experience with NFS, HDFS, Ceph, and S3
- 2+ years with Kubernetes
- Experience creating dashboards (Splunk)
- US citizenship required
- Security clearance level: Secret to start, must be able to obtain TS/SCI
- Experience with Agile methodologies; Jira/Confluence
- GitLab, Ansible/AWX
- Experience with monitoring and logging (Splunk)
- Identity and access management experience (preferred)
