Job Summary
Conduct systems engineering activities across the systems life cycle, including Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement phases. Analyze technical alternatives for projects and make preliminary recommendations while independently analyzing elements of the technical design. Develop and deliver work products adhering to ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas, ensuring technical integrity and completeness. Interact with government overseers and senior executives regarding technical considerations and associated issues. Maintain SSP compliance and STE/STN compliance on Linux systems while troubleshooting application support and general system issues. Requires current TS/SCI clearance with MD polygraph; Bachelor's degree plus six years experience or equivalent combination. Located in Annapolis Junction.
Required Qualifications
- A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD polygraph
- No CCA's
- Experience with LINUX
- Experience with containers/cloud environments
- Experience with storage management
- Experience with virtualization
- IP networking experience
- Firewall experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Six (6) years of systems engineering experience
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Ten (10) years of general system engineering experience
- A Master's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Four (4) years of systems engineering experience
- A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university
- Two (2) years of systems engineering experience
