Job Summary
Systems Engineer for the SUAS Product Office responsible for ensuring technical sufficiency of inputs to Sources Sought Notices, coordinating with stakeholders, and managing program documentation such as contract requirements packages, performance/system specifications, and statements of work. Drive MBSE usage and MOSA compliance; communicate with SUAS personnel, PM UAS functionals and staff, prime contractors and suppliers, user representatives, and Army airworthiness personnel. Provide technical oversight of contracted work, lead Integrated Product Teams and working groups, analyze contractor performance, identify risks, develop mitigations, and recommend actions across the systems engineering lifecycle. Establish and monitor cost, schedule, and performance of systems engineering activities across the lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- ABET accredited BS degree
- 0-3 years of related Uncrewed Aircraft Systems experience
- Experience or exposure to DoD including planning, execution and reporting
- Demonstrated technical writing and oral reporting skills
- Proficient in MS Office Suite tools
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
