Job Summary
Coordinate and communicate project status with internal engineering and operations resources while preparing, implementing, and completing final closeout on assigned projects. Manage assigned installation and service tickets and execute complex system upgrades as a Subject Matter Expert for customers in the NYC Metro Area. Program supported security systems including Genetec, Lenel, and Milestone platforms, and configure networks, firewalls, and VLANs using Cisco, HP, and Juniper interfaces. Travel to various sites for commissioning on a scheduled basis to support high-security clients.
Required Qualifications
- located near the New York City area
- 5+ years' technical experience in Access Control, Video Surveillance and Network Design
- Experience in security system design for healthcare, government, K-12, commercial and higher education environments
- Experience with one or more of the followings software platforms is required: Genetec, Software House, Lenel, Gallagher, and Milestone
- Experience with Windows Server configuration
- Hands-on experience with one or more of the security manufacturers noted above
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience (5+ years) with a technical focus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.)
- Team oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Some high security customers do not allow remote access, traveling to various sites for commissioning on a scheduled basis is a requirement
- Experience with configuring networks, Cisco and HP CLI interface commands. VLAN configuration, static routing
- Experience with Firewall configuration, Cisco, Juniper
- Being the SME (Subject Matter Expert) when interfacing with our customers and internal stakeholders, being able to plan and execute various complex system upgrades

- Experience with Cisco and HP CLI interface commands
- Experience with network switch configuration, VLANs, etc. Cisco and HP preferred
