Job Summary
Monitor system alerts and respond to exceptions in enterprise storage, backup, and hybrid cloud environments to ensure high availability and data integrity. Diagnose complex performance issues using logs, traces, and metrics, then manage Dell Unity, PowerStore, and Avamar/Commvault platforms including provisioning, replication, and capacity planning. Administer fiber channel SAN fabric, configure immutable storage for ransomware resilience, and optimize cloud solutions on Azure and AWS. Develop automation scripts with Bash, Python, and Terraform to provision infrastructure and orchestrate data protection workflows. Lead architectural design for storage roadmaps, manage CapEx/OpEx budgets, and create technical documentation for operational consistency. Mentor team members through knowledge transfer and hands-on training.
