Systems Engineer III

Manage and maintain assigned systems in a 24x7 high availability environment, providing technical leadership for the enterprise IT infrastructure stack including storage, backup, compute, virtualization, and cloud environments. Develop and update IT systems architecture to support growth, optimization, and cost savings while designing, implementing, and maintaining core infrastructure components. Perform daily system administration, security administration, patching, capacity planning, and root cause analysis for reported operational problems, ensuring maximum availability and performance. Act as escalated support for complex technical issues, collaborate on disaster recovery planning and testing, and maintain SLAs for all assigned applications. Develop performance monitoring tools, document industry best practices, and create 5-year roadmaps with vendor partners to drive technology evolution.
