Systems Engineer I (Time Limited/Remote) - WUIT, Cloud Security

Job Summary
Design, implement, and engineer security-focused IT solutions; review security alerts in Orca Security, coordinate remediation with cloud subscription owners to address vulnerabilities and risky configurations, perform system analysis to determine hardware/software requirements, validate and test new products/services, respond to incidents and optimize performance, and create design documentation for services, solutions, and interfaces. Works with WashU IT to align services with university initiatives and may involve VMware virtualization, enterprise databases, SharePoint integration, and other enterprise technologies. Requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. Primary duties include reviewing alerts, coordinating remediation, and documenting technical specifications.
