Job Summary
Systems Engineer role focusing on designing and leading the development of command-and-control systems for national defense programs. You will translate real-world customer needs into technical specifications, lead an engineering team, advise clients on joint TDL implementation, and work with Army mission command solutions including hardware, software, and COTS to provide Situational Awareness, Early Warning, and Air Space Management. Requires experience with Joint TDL Architecture (MTA), AFATDS/CPCE/ATAK, Army Mission Command Systems, ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 30%, and a Secret clearance. The position may be remote/hybrid/onsite depending on assignment. Compensation range is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 annually, with full benefits; standard Booz Allen work-model expectations apply.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience in the Army as a 140A
- 3+ years of experience with Tactical Data Links, computer repair, computer networking, or tactical communication
- Experience supervising, coordinating, planning, and managing the operations and integration of the Joint Multi-Tactical Data Link (TDL) Architecture (MTA) for Army air and missile defense mission command systems
- Experience with AFATDS, CPCE, ATAK, and Army Mission Command Systems
- Ability to advise on joint TDL implementation, employment, capabilities, and integration for Army mission command systems
- Ability to integrate, develop, test Army air defense mission command solutions including hardware, software, and COTS systems
- Ability to travel to OCONUS locations up to 30%
- Secret clearance
