Job Summary
The Systems Engineer will assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint, serving as the main technical resource during sales calls, and educating customers on features, specifications, and integration. Responsibilities include post-sales support as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, collaborating with support teams to resolve technical issues, providing training for customers, and reporting status updates to management. Requires experience with LAN/WAN/Internet services, Wireless technologies, and a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies and protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Field sales experience
- Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
- Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
- Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting and doing site surveys
- Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies
- Exceptional understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP
- Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus
- Solid understanding in RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
