Job Summary
Systems Engineer for Flight Management Systems in service support within Airbus India. Responsible for providing subject matter expertise and technical support to in-service queries from airline customers and interfacing with engineering teams across multiple aircraft programs. Activities include supporting system development, specification, V&V, responding to in-service queries with rapid turnarounds (including AOG scenarios), analyzing in-service issues for airworthiness, reliability, and cost, coordinating corrective actions with design offices and suppliers, attending technical meetings with stakeholders, and transferring in-service knowledge to other Airbus Customer Services teams and design organizations. Requires collaboration with system designers and lab testing teams during V&V campaigns; 3-7 years experience and relevant aerospace education. Emphasis on teamwork, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and adherence to standards and processes.
Required Qualifications
- B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E. in aerospace or related field
- 3-7 years experience in aerospace industry
- Background in development, system engineering or V&V of avionics systems
- Knowledge of basic aircraft avionics systems and ISA
- Strong decision making and communication skills
- Flexible and team-oriented
