Job Summary
The Systems Engineer role involves product engineering responsibilities, including overseeing the transition from development to production, managing assembly definitions and testing protocols, and drafting engineering change orders (ECOs). Candidates will conduct DFA reports for assembly and manufacturability, support inspection processes, and ensure continuous improvement in documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and has up to 3 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in manufacturing technology and English proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Up to 3 years of experience as a Product Engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in product engineering
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies like machining, metal fabrication, welding, coating, and cable manufacturing
- Familiarity with testing methods and work standards for cables
- Knowledge of aluminum castings and extrusion processes
- Experience with electromechanical assemblies, mechanics, electronics, and software troubleshooting
- Ability to read assembly drawings and create jigs and fixtures
