Job Summary
Systems Engineer sought to design and integrate technology and architecture for microgrid components and power distribution in data centers. Lead model-based systems engineering simulations to conceptualize architecture and define technology requirements; size power generation and power electronics components; define controls software functionality; coordinate with internal teams and external agencies; leverage MBSE tools to drive technology decisions; perform system-level performance simulations; develop DFMEA at system and component levels; support testing, verification, and risk management; perform top-down functional analysis and create detailed requirements and architecture diagrams for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, and data center markets. Hybrid work model in Menasha, WI with 5% travel. Requires Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and 1-4+ years of experience in systems engineering; ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 1-4+ years of experience in systems engineering or a Masters Degree
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. and relocation/travel requirements as described
- Travel: 5%
- Work schedule: typical hours with potential off-hours as needed
