Job Summary
Drive the development of innovative technology in photomask metrology by translating customer needs into optimized system concepts. Analyze system requirements and key performance indicators, and perform thorough system characterization. Take ownership of sub-system components throughout the development lifecycle and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across mechanics, electronics, software, and algorithms. Act as a technical partner for internal teams and customers, while contributing expertise in an international environment and adapting to complex technical challenges.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Physics or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems development
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured, data‐driven approach
- Proven experience with error budgeting and tolerance stack‐up modeling
- Confident communication skills in English
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 40%)
- EU work permit required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in systems development within the semiconductor industry
- Expertise in applied optics and measurement and control engineering, particularly for mechanical systems
- Knowledge of AI-based methods
