Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Provide day-to-day IT and system support across infrastructure, applications, and user environments. Manage, monitor, and maintain AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, and IAM while troubleshooting system, network, and cloud-related issues with a proactive approach. Assist in system deployments, upgrades, and patch management to ensure performance, availability, and adherence to security best practices. Monitor infrastructure using standard tools, respond to alerts, and maintain documentation for configurations and troubleshooting steps. Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes while collaborating with engineering and product teams to optimize infrastructure performance and cost.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in IT/System Support or Systems Engineering roles
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud support and services
- Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux operating systems
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls)
- Experience with monitoring and ticketing tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and collaboration abilities
Desired Qualifications
- AWS Certification (e.g., Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect – Associate)
- Experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell, or similar)
- Familiarity with cloud security and compliance best practices
