Job Summary
Seeking a Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering efforts supporting the Joint Training Synthetic Environment (JTSE) and JLVC Modernization initiative. Responsibilities include leading systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle, managing system requirements for AI integration, developing system architectures for real-time data integration, ensuring interoperability across training systems, and supporting DevSecOps implementation. Required qualifications include 5 years experience with a Bachelor's in the related field, systems engineering process expertise, and strong analytical skills. Preferred qualifications include AI/ML integration experience and familiarity with DoD training environments.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance within 45 days of hire.
- Experience with systems engineering processes, including requirements management, architecture development, system integration, and testing.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, data architectures, and interoperability challenges.
- Understanding of AI/ML concepts and how they integrate into operational systems.
- Experience creating system documentation such as requirements, architecture diagrams, and interface specifications.
- Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Experience working in Linux based environments.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience integrating or deploying AI/ML models, including large scale or foundation models.
- Familiarity with modern AI frameworks.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities into enterprise or simulation environments.
- Experience with Joint Training and Simulation systems such as JTSE, JLVC, LVC, or similar DoD environments.
- Experience with real time data integration or streaming architectures.
- Knowledge of DoD architecture frameworks and model based systems engineering (MBSE) tools.
- Experience supporting joint, multi domain, coalition, or large scale training exercises.
- Understanding of data governance, data standards, and enterprise data strategy.
- Experience with constructive or synthetic training environments.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps pipelines and secure deployments in classified environments.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISSP, AWS Cloud, or Kubernetes.
