Job Summary
Conduct 24/7/365 watch-standing duties and manage day-to-day operations and technical readiness of program and facility equipment. Troubleshoot system outages, coordinate with agencies to maximize circuit readiness, and notify senior personnel of anomalies. Perform preventive maintenance, draft watch bills, and develop or update Standard Operating Procedures. Provide technical expertise for system installation, operation, and maintenance while ensuring logical conversion of customer requirements into total systems solutions. Informs the chain of command of substantive configuration changes and delivers Critical Information Requirements. Requires TS/SCI clearance and base access credentials.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of relevant experience
- Must have a background in Electronic Maintenance, Information Systems or Telecommunication disciplines
- Experience with the management of electronic equipment for preventive and corrective maintenance, configuration, and calibration
- Must have experience in Safety Procedures when working with electronic equipment
- Ability to identify and correct emergent problems involving technical and/or facility-related equipment, systems, and components
- Experience following quality assurance steps/checks
- TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain/maintain base access credentials
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Required Travel: 11 - 25%
Desired Qualifications
- Strong background in communications; fiber optics; electrical/electronic components; generators; AC/DC and high/low voltage theory and application
- Thorough knowledge of the installation and maintenance of electrical/electronic components; working knowledge of Key Management Infrastructure
- Experience and operational knowledge of various Test Equipment
- Develop, review, and implementation of Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Experience with Lifecycle Management of programs and various equipment
- Experience with Information Systems, Network Infrastructure, Troubleshooting, and Program Analysis
