Systems Engineer (Endpoint Vulnerability Remediation & Patch Management)

Job Summary
Manage endpoint vulnerability remediation and patch management activities to maintain secure, compliant Windows and macOS environments. Develop, implement, and manage operating system and security patch deployment processes using Microsoft Intune and Qualys, while performing vulnerability scans and analyzing remediation requirements. Partner with Cyber Security and IT teams to prioritize risks, troubleshoot policy enforcement issues, and automate workflows with PowerShell or Bash scripts. Monitor patch compliance, report progress to stakeholders, and communicate with business users to drive non-compliant device remediation. Participate in planned maintenance, on-call support, and security initiatives as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing Windows endpoint operating systems, including security features, configuration management, and compliance controls
- Strong knowledge of vulnerability management lifecycle processes, including identification, assessment, prioritization, remediation, and validation of security risks
- Proven expertise administering Microsoft Intune to configure endpoint policies, deploy operating system updates, and maintain device compliance
- Experience using vulnerability and patch management platforms such as Qualys to analyze security findings and drive remediation activities
- Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Bash scripting to automate endpoint management, patch deployment, and remediation processes
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex endpoint, deployment, and compliance issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage technical teams and business users to support remediation efforts and improve endpoint security posture
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges
- Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in endpoint management, vulnerability remediation, patch management, or a related systems engineering role
