Job Summary
Monitor POC phases and provide user support for system issues while ensuring the IT infrastructure remains operational. Perform Linux system administration and troubleshooting, managing Debian, RHEL, and Ubuntu environments alongside CI/CD pipelines and cloud services. Execute scripting tasks in Python or Bash to automate workflows and maintain backup, virtualization, and containerization tools. Collaborate with the development team and client IT teams on-site in Strasbourg, France, requiring an EU candidate with a university degree and five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in IT, preferably in computer science
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in IT
- Proven experience in project management
- Experience as Linux System Engineer (Debian, RHEL, RockyLinux, Ubuntu)
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, scripting (Python/Bash) and cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Good knowledge of web hosting under Apache/nGinx/Traefik
- Good knowledge of backup, virtualization and paravirtualization, Docker Swarm, Portainer
- Good knowledge of Puppet, Terraform, and Ansible
- Good knowledge of Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Minio, Thanos, OpenTelemetry
- Good knowledge of ElasticSearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Syslog-ng components
- Knowledge of networking, Netfilter, Strongswan and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of authentication/identification, SAMLv2, OpenID Connect
- Knowledge of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases
- Excellent command of the English and French language
- EU citizenship (implied by 'consider only EU candidates')
