Systems Engineer - Cyber Security

Systems Engineer – Cyber Security at Penske responsible for maintaining network, server, and workstation firewall protection; providing network and application scanning, security logging, and intrusion detection; conducting security reviews and defining security models for new systems; collaborating across IT teams to resolve usability issues and drive security infrastructure updates; overseeing security access and compliance (SOX/PCI); auditing access to mission-critical applications; analyzing security products; mentoring Security Administrators and Offshore Contractors; defining and updating security architecture, policies, and procedures for hardware, software, and networks; developing tools for security administration and monitoring; creating disaster recovery plans; and developing training materials to raise security awareness. Detailed understanding of Cloud Security fundamentals, including cryptography and the shared responsibility model; and other projects as assigned.
