Systems Engineer

Conduct top-down functional analysis to translate requirements into detailed performance design criteria and develop system architectures for low-complexity systems. Design templates for Subject Matter Experts, synthesize technical requirements into physical architectures, and contribute to technical reports and diagrams detailing system attributes. Implement systems engineering solutions for hardware and software-based systems by performing systems analysis to assess testability through reviews of requirements, documentation, and system behavior. Coordinate with multi-functional development teams to ensure research product development tracks with system requirements, while developing test plans, procedures, scripts, and formal test artifacts. Execute automated test procedures and compile test artifacts for sponsored projects, managing system performance, troubleshooting problems, and making improvements post-deployment.
