Job Summary
Design, implement, and deploy next-generation Strategic Weapon Systems using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies and digital engineering practices. Develop and maintain SysML models, including behavioral, structural, and requirements diagrams, while applying MBSE to architect complex systems through functional decomposition and trade study analysis. Manage requirements using tools like DOORS and integrate them with system models within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks. Collaborate in cross-functional teams to champion MBSE adoption and leverage AI-driven approaches for continuous improvement. This role supports the NC3 domain with a focus on research-oriented work and practical solutions for national security.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
- 2+ years of job-related experience
- Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance
- U.S. citizenship

- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards with an MBSE-first mindset
- Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, DOORS Next Generation) and their integration with system models
- Experience working within DoDAF or similar architecture frameworks to support digital engineering initiatives
- Creative thinker who can leverage MBSE models to quickly communicate complex system designs and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
