Systems Engineer – Civil & Structural

Job Summary
Design, develop, and manage complex civil and structural engineering projects, including 400kV switchyards, GIS buildings, and synchronous condensers. Create and review detailed engineering designs using advanced CAD and structural analysis tools like STAAD.Pro and SAP2000. Oversee multiple projects to ensure timely completion within budget and highest quality standards, while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct site visits to assess conditions and address design issues, evaluating environmental factors to incorporate innovative solutions. Prepare comprehensive reports for client meetings and regulatory submissions, collaborating with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to integrate structural aspects into broader plans. Manage tasks across various projects with strong prioritization skills, with occasional short-notice travel for domestic and overseas assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in structural and civil engineering
- proven track record of successful project delivery
- Familiarity with local and national, international building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Proficiency in advanced CAD tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation
- Experience with any of structural analysis and design software like STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, or ETABS
- Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools for integrated project delivery
- Skills in 3D modeling software for visualizing and simulating structural behaviors
- Ability to adapt and multitask with project / application engineers
- Analytical and innovative approach in problem solving
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- PLM, Primavera experience are added advantage
