Job Summary
Systems Engineer to lead end-to-end development and integration of next-gen defense flight systems. Collaborate across cross-functional teams to define requirements and system architecture, design and maintain software/hardware components for complex environments, conduct thorough testing for reliability and scalability in distributed systems, and work with hardware engineers and product managers to ensure seamless software-hardware integration. Emphasis on rapid prototyping, automated test frameworks (Python/MATLAB), adherence to quality and regulatory standards, and capability to operate with a U.S. Secret security clearance. Travel up to 25% for test planning/execution; role involves autonomous and UAS platforms, autonomy stack coordination, and integration challenges across software and hardware domains.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of post-grad industry experience, including electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or systems engineering
- Hands-on prototyping, troubleshooting, and build experience
- Experience developing automated test scripts and frameworks using a common language (e.g., Python, MATLAB)
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- A sincere commitment to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative culture
- Must hold a U.S. Secret security clearance, or higher
- Ability to travel up to 25% as needed for test planning and execution
