Job Summary
Systems Engineer at Datacom responsible for maintaining backup software and infrastructure, providing operational support for backups, proactively managing backup systems for capacity, performance and availability, implementing vendor-backed changes, documenting procedures and recommendations, mentoring team members on best practices, with after-hours/on-site and remote work as needed, leveraging multiple backup platforms (e.g., Commvault, Veeam, NetBackup, Azure) and related technologies (Cloud, Storage, Tape Libraries, SQL, Oracle, Virtualization) to ensure data is secured and recoverable.
