Job Summary
Manage servers in Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E) across MVS, Linux, UNIX, and Windows platforms while supporting enterprise IT, utility, and security applications. Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems by working with network requirements to anticipate impacts on operating systems and adhering to organizational standards for configurations and security. Collaborate with system developers to elicit requirements, engage in joint project planning, and track project requirements using analytical planning and organizational skills. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Research latest technological developments to identify potential impacts on organization operating systems.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
- Server technologies, MVS (multiple virtual storage), Linux, UNIX, and Windows technology and operating systems
- Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) and supported utility and security applications
- Setting up and managing servers in Commercial Cloud Enterprise (C2E)
- Working in a multi-system and multi-application environment with multiple specialties such as operating systems, e-mail, database platforms, storage technologies, and hardware support
- Working with network requirements to anticipate impact on respective operating systems
- Understanding organizational standards for operating configurations, security constraints, and procedures for managing organization software
- Problem solving, to include independent diagnoses and resolving complex technical problems
- Using analytical planning and organizational skills
- Understanding of project management techniques to plan and execute projects
- Using strong oral and written communication skills in order to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Working independently on routine tasks
- Working as part of a team
- Working with system developers to elicit requirements and engage in joint project planning
- Tracking requirements
- Researching the latest technological developments in the relevant operating systems to identify impact on organization operating systems and to anticipate changes
Desired Qualifications

- Associate's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a scientific or technical discipline
