Job Summary
Model-Based Systems Engineer to develop MBSE models, flow down and track requirements, architect systems, plan and lead verification and validation activities, identify risks and define mitigation strategies for defense/space/airborne programs. Requires experience with SysML MBSE tools (preferably MagicDraw), ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, excellent written and verbal communication, and a Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aero/Astro, Software Engineering, or related fields with 7+ years of experience (MS/PhD may substitute). Onsite 5 days/week with occasional remote work; travel about 10% domestically; interim secret clearance to start with eventual Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mechanical, Electrical, Aero/Astro, Software Engineering, or related fields
- at least 7 years of relevant experience with systems engineering for space or airborne systems
- Experience with SysML MBSE tools (MBSE)
- 2 years of Model-Based Systems Engineering experience
- 2 years of SysML experience
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to obtain Top Secret clearance after start (interim secret sufficient to start)
