Job Summary
Coordinate cross-functionally between program and internal support groups to support the establishment and maintenance of configuration management practices. Contribute to requirements generation, analysis, and verification while performing root cause and corrective action analysis for issues found during integration and test. Support qualification testing, design-build-test, integration verification, and acceptance testing activities to ensure overall system performance meets specifications. Help maintain vehicle architecture documentation, interface definitions, and traceability across the product lifecycle. Work across business lines and product teams to build consensus, minimize silos, and align on shared objectives while supporting sea operations, strategic technical planning, and proposal efforts as needed. Ability to travel ~10%.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in systems engineering, integration & test, or platform architecture
- Electromechanical hardware experience
- Able to troubleshoot across mechanical, electrical, and software boundaries
- Demonstrated skill in root cause and corrective action methodologies
- Software literacy: can read and analyze code (Rust, Python, or C), understand dependencies, and engage in systematic analysis
- Experience working within requirements frameworks
- The judgment to adapt requirements frameworks
- The discipline to justify changes to requirements frameworks
- Strong cross-functional collaborator
- Ability to build consensus
- Understanding of others' processes
- Ability to compromise between competing priorities
- Ability to travel ~10%
