Job Summary
Design, deploy, and maintain AI/ML architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments; integrate AI services with SIEM/SOAR and ticketing/operational data sources; build secure, scalable data pipelines for AI workloads and telemetry; automate infrastructure with Terraform/Ansible; support Kubernetes-based deployments and model-serving infrastructures; mentor junior engineers and advise leadership on AI technologies and risk; collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce hardening and access controls; produce architecture diagrams, runbooks, SOPs, and integration documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent experience considered
- 8+ years of related experience
- Hands-on experience deploying or integrating AI/ML platforms, services, or tooling into operational systems
- Strong background in systems engineering, infrastructure engineering, solutions architecture, or related technical roles in secure environments
- Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu)
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, routing, proxies, load balancing)
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Cloud infrastructure, primarily AWS (IAM, networking, security services)
- Infrastructure/configuration management tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible)
- Scripting/development in Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go
- Experience with AI/ML infrastructure (MLflow, SageMaker, TorchServe, Vertex AI, Azure ML)
- Logging/telemetry pipelines
- Relational, NoSQL, object storage, or vector databases
- CI/CD, Git workflows, artifact management
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts (SSO/SAML/OIDC, OAuth, RBAC, encryption, certificates)
- Security monitoring and SIEM/SOAR integrations
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to translate operational and security requirements into technical solutions
- Experience supporting AI-driven cybersecurity use cases (threat detection, UEBA, incident response)
- Experience with RAG and prompt engineering
- Experience with cybersecurity platforms (Splunk, Elastic, QRadar, EDR/XDR, SOAR)
- Onsite in Herndon, VA
- US Citizenship required
- TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required
