Job Summary
Generate and manage internal and external product/system documentation, including configuration standards and procedures. Lead requirements for multiple system/product programs from inception to destruction while serving as the point of contact for documentation exchange between customers and suppliers. Collaborate with support functions such as quality, supply chain, and advanced manufacturing to develop innovative pressure sensors supporting custom product opportunities and new product introductions. Interpret aerospace specifications, standards, and drawings while adhering to sector quality management processes like AS9100 and environmental test requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent qualified in an Engineering discipline, preferably in Aerospace, Electrical or Mechanical subjects
- significant Aerospace Systems development background
- ability to interpret Aerospace specifications, standards and drawings
- knowledge of sector quality management processes such as AS9100, GRESS, APQP
- knowledge of environmental test requirements such as DO160 & Mil Std 810
- good knowledge of system verification and validation techniques
- comfortable working in an environment with high expectations for quality, on-time delivery, and deadlines
- excellent communication skills with customers and team members
- excellent attention to detail
