Job Summary
Apply systems engineering principles across all lifecycle phases from concept through retirement, leading the development and delivery of work products aligned with ISO/IEC 15288 standards. Analyze technical alternatives to develop design recommendations while providing oversight of engineering teams and contractors. Participate in discussions with government customers and cross-functional groups, then supervise junior engineers on standards and best practices. Identify and resolve technical risks, contribute to trade studies and system readiness assessments, and manage project planning, risk, and configuration control. Assist in improving enterprise and agreement process areas including acquisition and infrastructure management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of systems engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience with ISO/IEC 15288 processes and lifecycle support
- Strong understanding of technical trade-off analysis, system-level requirements development, and integration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) programs
- Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps environments and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Prior experience leading technical teams and customer-facing engineering efforts
