Job Summary
Lead systems engineering efforts across the full lifecycle from concept through retirement, applying ISO/IEC 15288 standards to requirements analysis, architectural design, and integration. Guide technical design, manage process development, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with contractors and senior government stakeholders. Analyze technical alternatives, lead trade studies, and resolve critical risks to ensure alignment with mission objectives. Supervise project planning, risk management, and configuration control activities within a classified TS/SCI environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
- Demonstrated experience with ISO/IEC 15288 processes and lifecycle support
- Strong understanding of technical trade-off analysis, system-level requirements development, and integration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or Intelligence Community (IC) programs
- Familiarity with Agile/DevSecOps environments and model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Prior experience leading technical teams and customer-facing engineering efforts
