Job Summary
Apply systems engineering practices across all life cycle phases from concept through retirement. Provide detailed technical input on architectural decisions, risk trade-offs, and engineering assessments. Serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and government leadership to manage technical issues and drive performance. Analyze and validate stakeholder requirements, then translate them into effective engineering solutions. Ensure deliverables align with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas while leading technical process areas including implementation, verification, transition, and operation. Maintain consistent communication with program personnel, government overseers, and senior leadership. Requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and 6+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of relevant systems engineering experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science)
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 15288 systems engineering framework
- Excellent analytical, communication, and technical writing skills
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance (required)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in DoD or IC mission environments
- Ability to independently lead technical reviews and interface with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, or model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Familiarity with system certification, testing, and accreditation processes
