Job Summary
Systems Engineer - Level 3/4 to be based in Aurora, CO. Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability analyses across the full system lifecycle; translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications; ensure alignment with schedule and cost constraints; requires being onsite with no remote/hybrid work; active SCI clearance required; Bachelor's in a STEM field with 5+ years (or 3+ with Master’s, 1 with PhD) of relevant experience; familiarity with Agile processes, Cameo, DOORS, Jira/Confluence, MBSE; responsibilities include requirements development and decomposition, test procedure development, and model-based systems engineering across defense/space programs; primary and secondary salary ranges indicate compensation levels; relocation assistance may be available; strong communication skills essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at the time of application
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology
- Experience using Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
- Experience with Cameo and DOORS
- Strong written and oral communications skills
