Job Summary
Lead Systems & DevOps engineering role owning CI/CD pipelines, embedded Linux build/OTA, and infrastructure for Bucher Municipal Compact Sweeper software and hardware across vehicle platforms. Design and run the CI/CD, embedded build and delivery chain (Yocto/BitBake to OTA), expand infrastructure automation, set standards for reliability, monitoring, and tooling. Work hands-on with real hardware on vehicles and collaborate with software, embedded, and hardware teams to remove friction and keep development fast. 5+ years of professional full-time experience; strong Unix/Linux, Git/GitHub, CI/builder automation (GitHub Actions, GitLab), Docker/VMs, IaC (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Salt), server infrastructure and networking (VPN), programming in Python/C++/JavaScript, English fluency. Nice-to-have: German language, ELK/PagerDuty, cloud/Kubernetes, ROS, CMake; 10+ years for senior-level growth. Berlin-based with in-person work; flexible/hybrid-friendly environment; startup pace with industrial-scale impact.
