Job Summary
Execute projects and resolve issues for internal and external customers across the full suite of AWS services. Dive deep into technical challenges to improve customer experience and build massively scalable distributed security systems involving identity management and federation. Collaborate with empowered engineers to meet world-class challenges while continuously improving how things are done. Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance and obtain additional agency clearances as needed. Join the AWS Infrastructure Services team in Seattle to support global infrastructure and the most demanding customers in the industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above
- Experience with PowerShell (preferred)
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
