Job Summary
Manage and monitor systems in air-gapped regions while building software solutions to improve system management and monitoring. Deploy software to ensure Route 53 and Perimeter Protection services maintain a 100% uptime SLA, troubleshooting failures and minimizing human involvement through automation tools. Break down projects into milestones and feedback mechanisms, then investigate systemic patterns and resolve operational defects. Identify when implementations lack high availability and mitigate or escalate concerns promptly. Maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph and opt into commensurate clearances for each government agency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Ability to opt into a commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work
