Job Summary
Systems Architect Engineer to support solution conceptualization and development for the next generation of advanced spacecraft. Responsible for MBSE modeling, defining solution roadmaps and requirements, providing technical leadership for spacecraft conceptual design, and collaborating with product managers and other engineers to validate customer, market, and technical assumptions. Requires experience in modeling and simulation (Python, MATLAB/Simulink, Julia, Fortran, or C++), ability to work independently, and strong technical communications. Preferred experience includes spacecraft design/operations, scalable simulations in cloud/cluster environments, orbital mechanics/trajectory optimization, familiarity with STK or FreeFlyer, exposure to DoD/USG programs, and the ability to obtain/hold a USG security clearance. Education: advanced degree in related engineering disciplines; 7+ years of relevant experience. Location: San Jose, California, USA; Full-time; export-controlled environment; US citizenship or equivalent required.
