Job Summary
Systems and Test Engineer to support U.S. Army Fixed Wing Project Office in Huntsville, AL. Responsibilities include establishing traceability from foundational requirements through the RVTM to test cases and evaluation criteria; performing detailed technical reviews and final approval of SE, Architecture, and Test related CDRLs; ensuring contractor test procedures, raw data, and final test reports meet government quality standards; applying DoD Instructions to align SE, Architecture, and Test strategies with program milestones and capability documents; developing, planning, and coordinating the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) and Test Evaluation Strategy (TES) with ATEC, OTA, and key stakeholders; leading T&E WIPTs/IPTs; liaising with ATEC and MRTFBs to secure infrastructure and threat simulations; developing T&E cost estimates and managing test budgets; conducting technical reviews of test plans; applying DoE methodologies; interpreting raw test data and assessing risks to support fielding decisions.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Engineering preferred
- BS minimum
- 20 years of SE/Test experience with MS or 20 with BS
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret/SCI security clearance
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- On-site office work in Huntsville, AL
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong planning and management skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision
