Job Summary

Administer Alma, Primo, and related integrations while coordinating configuration, release testing, and functionality. Ensure reliable discovery and delivery of physical and electronic resources by troubleshooting indexing, display, linking, interoperability, and access issues. Manage API integrations, authentication protocols, and system interoperability to guarantee consistent, barrier-free access across platforms. Process acquisitions and invoice records for electronic subscriptions, oversee the technical lifecycle of resources including trials, activation, and renewal support, and serve as the primary technical contact for vendors. Analyze usage, cost-per-use, and platform performance data to inform selection and renewal decisions. Monitor digital accessibility requirements, identify barriers, and track remediation progress. Provide research consultations, teach information-literacy courses, and translate academic needs into collection priorities. Co-manage the Collections Management department and represent the library on consortial groups.

Required Qualifications

  • An MLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited institution
  • Experience with Alma, Primo, and OCLC
  • At least two years of relevant systems, electronic-resource, or library-technology experience
  • Experience supporting a library services platform, discovery layer, authentication environment, or electronic-resource knowledge base
  • Commitment to inclusive, accessible, user-centered library service and continuous learning
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and project-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience managing licensed resources in an academic or multi-site library
  • Experience with usage statistics, license data, or accessibility documentation
  • Experience with EZproxy or SAML
  • Working knowledge of digital accessibility standards
  • Experience supervising student workers
