Job Summary
Develop and execute roofing system test plans at third-party labs to support regulatory approvals (ICC-ES, Miami-Dade County, Florida Building Code, UL); track EPDs and PCR development and monitor regulatory actions and deadlines; coordinate with Legal, Product Management, and Certifications to prepare clear, reader-friendly compliance documents and ensure timely code approvals; manage test data and reports, coordinate product and system testing from scoping through witnessing and documentation, and travel to labs/conferences as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or GED with 15+ years related experience
- Experience with roofing related technologies
- Intermediate knowledge of North American and International Building Codes
- Experience coordinating system testing with third-party labs and Certifications teams
- Strong data management and regulatory-tracking capabilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Tableau
- Excellent cross-functional communication and project coordination skills
- Knowledge of VOC and chemical regulations
- Experience preparing code compliance documents (ICC-ES, Florida Building Code, Miami-Dade, UL)
- Travel readiness for site visits and labs (approx. 30%)
