Job Summary
Systems Analyst VI at the Health & Human Services Commission leads application product outcomes and lifecycle delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives. Responsible for defining product scope and success metrics, prioritizing backlogs, and aligning roadmaps with business value and enterprise priorities. Provides governance for application solutions, coordinates with internal teams and external vendors, and delivers executive-level status updates on health, risks, dependencies, and value. The role requires translating operational needs and regulatory drivers into clear product direction, ensuring compliance, maintainability, and alignment with long-term enterprise direction, while collaborating with business leaders, security, operations, and delivery partners to ensure measurable outcomes and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration
- 8–10 years of hands-on IT experience, including product management, delivery, and oversight
- Executive and legislative communication experience
- Selected candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Experience overseeing applications in heavily regulated environments or public sector (preferred)
- Experience with cloud-native/containerized systems, microservices, API gateways, and orchestration (preferred)
Desired Qualifications
